    I was on the lookout out for a Miami based VPS so opted for a Cloud S VM, as I also needed KVM.

    Worth noting is that there are discounts if paying semi-annually or annually, bringing the price down to €3.47 / month after LET discount if you pay for a whole year. The flip side to this is needing to add VAT if you are in the EU.

    Choice of OS was pretty limited during the sign up process, however there were a lot more options that can be re-installed from the Virtualizor control panel and also the option to use your own ISO. After performing the benchmark below, I re-installed to Ubuntu 18.04 and this was quick and easy.

    Here's the cpuinfo, the processor seems a bit dated, but the cloud instances promise 'dedicated cpu' so I'll see how that works out.
