Looking for a deal on a Dedicated Server

I'm in search of a Dedicated Server with Windows that I can remote desktop connect at any time. Mostly looking for a server near New York or Chicago. The closer the server is to either of these 2 locations, the better.

Looking for the following specs:

• 8 CPU Core or higher
• 8 GB Ram
• 1gbps network speed
• Storage amount doesn't really matter. Won't be using a lot of storage.
• Chicago or New York location (or close)
• Budget is $70 per month

Cores or Threads ? It makes a lot of difference to the price; I.e. you could try to get something modern for the budget if that’s threads, but if cores than you’re looking at EOL kit.

Locations are OK, the budget is OK, CPU and RAM - OK, 1G bandwidth for $ 70=shared (garbage), we offer 200M unshared. He can install any Windows via IPMI.

Can you offer a better server?

E3-1265LV3 only offers 4 cores and 8 threads.

1G bandwidth for $ 70=shared (garbage), we offer 200M unshared. He can install any Windows via IPMI.

This one is debatable but 200Mbps is still a good amount of throughput... definitely more than enough for remote desktop.
