If you'll use it only for torrents, then you're much better off with a seedbox account.
More storage, better routing, everything preinstalled, BTC often accepted, no real name needed, the host and the other customers won't care about/suffer from your torrenting, and the host knows how to deal with DMCAs.

Some also feature VPN, webhosting, file syncing/sharing, usenet etc. on your account. So root isn't always neccessary, if you want to do something besides torrenting.

You aren't getting 1gbps, period. If you want a VPS at 5 USD/year, I have a Nigerian prince for you.

See my comment above. Those are the cheapest option except for Real Debrid.

If you just want to grab files, Real Debrid is more than enough for you (torrents, direct links and premium file hoster links are supported).
