Suggestions for Budget Dedi (inland US) & Help with Port Speeds?

Hey guys, does anybody have any recommendations for a good budget dedicated server? Used for game servers (not MineCraft).

Currently looking at Wholesale Internet's $50/mo E3-1245v2 8GB RAM looks like a steal

Looking for:
At least 8GB RAM
Inland US (no LA/NYC)
Under $70/mo TOPS

Also, do game servers need 1GBPS ports? I've been upgrading but I've heard 100 is fine.

100Mbps should be fine for pretty much all games.

Check out QuickPacket (@qps) too. I believe they have a $49/month offering in Atlanta but am not entirely sure.

People have nothing but good things to say about them.

Hey VD, I actually had a VPS with you maybe 8~ months ago which was pretty weak for gaming, but all my VPSes were.

Anyways, assuming ping is based on location and the provider has a decently stable colo, how can I tell how the routing is?
