That's what you invite when you do high unmetered at below/at cost price - you get a ton of traffic while expecting much less and it doesn't scale...
Online.net is pretty lenient in regards to bandwidth. Well.. more or less. They asked me to stay under 200mbps several times, even though I had been keeping the average a bit below 200. Looks to me like they want to avoid peaks above your guaranteed bandwidth, but besides that they don't care whether you use 1tb or 100tb on your 20€ server.
I've used the full gigabit on mine without hearing a peep from them, though total transfer generally fairly small, i.e. under 1TB in any month.
