Actually MailChannels do outbound spam filtering so its sort of a defense against spammers.
I didnt get what you mean with not attracting abusive users by advertising anything that contains mail or email. I will assume that you dont provide webhosting with email. MailChannels is an addon that gets you clients. It doesnt attract spammers at all, they run away from hosting companies with it.
At this point wouldn't running Mailchannels on a shared hosting server be more expensive than the server itself?

To be fair - this thread doesn’t say anyone was left hanging - monthly contract allows both parties to terminate at short notice - so long as there weren’t any refunds missing all is good.
