What do you use for making network diagrams (besides Visio)?

Looking to make a diagram of my home network and LEB empire. You know the kind I mean...here is one I googled at random:

I could use Visio...but I don't have a home license and there's no Mac/Linux version. I'm sure the world is full of people who have to make network diagrams and don't spend $100 with Microsoft to do it.
What do you use?

I've used gliffy a few times but you have to pay for it I think.

Otherwise
https://sourceforge.net/projects/dia-installer/
https://www.draw.io/
What about packet tracer, mainly used for learning routing and switching but ive used it to create a simple network map before.

Creately is good.
+1 for gliffy.
The Chrome extension is free. Otherwise you can get a free license for it if you have a student/edu email.
yEd
draw.io
I've used http://draw.io with different icon packs. Pretty nice in my opinion for simpler stuff.
Pen and paper!
+1 for gliffy too !
We once took over a company that had most of theirs on napkins that looked like they were from the town bar..
Lol. But seriously... Nothing quite like the feel of good old pen and paper. I have no idea why, but any kind of diagram starts life as a doodle.
We found many were written after a few drinks
Some of the software I used on Linux:
I'm also a yEd user. I need to do things on Win/Lin regularly. Bonus - it runs from a USB stick if you need to be portable.
LibreOffice Draw with VRT Network icon addons. Super fast & easy. Design, label and print in three minutes. Also, you can create scalable network development depth display stacks and export as .swf. Great fun stuff.
Here's an interesting project I bookmarked but haven't got around to playing with yet: https://github.com/cidrblock/drawthe.net
+1 for Gliffy. Still grandfathered in a University plan, works amazing. Visio otherwise, and if I have to, LibreOffice Draw
