Kimsufi Proxmox IPv6 help

v3ngv3ng Member, Host Rep

Hi,

I just installed proxmox on my Kimsufi node and tried to setup some KVMs.

But unfortunately I can't get IPv6 to work in the VM. IPv6 forwarding is active and I'm also able to ping the gateway (which is my hostsystem) in the VM.
I'm using a routed setup as you can see, ::1 is my hostsystem.

iface eth0 inet6 static address 2001:xxxx:1:a474::3 netmask 64 autoconf 0 accept_ra 0 gateway 2001:xxxx:1:a474::1

Any ideas?

    1. Are you able to ping the host from within the VM?
      on-match goto 2

    2. Does the host have a default route towards Kimsufi?
      on-match goto 3

    3. Is the subnet even routed towards your host?
      on-match open ticket

    4. on-match add ndp proxy on host's uplink for ::3
