GApps / GSuite setting up a paid client account on free domain

I have a legacy GApps account and now need to add a domain as a paid user; but I don't see any option to go about doing this.

Any help / guidance for a workaround will be appreciated, thx!

    keep your free account as free. setupa new gapps account for any paid user, so you can then add the domain
