That Hetzner dedi sounds like it was a great deal.

But, yes, I hear you, one can't do such a move so often. I find that it takes a lot of time to set up a server from scratch with the configuration that I want/need, and it simply doesn't make sense to move every six months, especially if I'm hosting some accounts for others.

Still tempted by this netcup deal, haven't yet decided, but the clock is ticking (unclear how many VPSes they have left for this promotion).

I never had the opportunity to use netcup before, their VPS are loved here, but how about their webhosting? Are they also that good?

I've never had web hosting with netcup, but as far as I can tell (in Germany, they've won awards for their web hosting), it's good.

Yes, in the case of this special, the contract is for 12 months, with cancellation at least one month before the end of the contract.

To my mind, a bigger potential negative point is that Perl, Python, NodeJS, and Ruby on Rails aren't available for this special, which is worth bearing in mind. (Naturally, PHP is available.)

You can only use the domain it gave ( 3 x .de ).

To use domains that aren't registered to them, you need to set them as external domains.

If it's crucial for you, I'd ask them about this via a ticket.

It automatically added 3 .de domains for me.
I didn't see the delete button and the add button.

@moni099878 you should be able to find it in their general control panel via https://ccp.netcup.net - log into it, choose products on the left and then your webhosting contract from the list on the right, it should open and you will see the last tab to the right should be external domains.
