Can anything beat the Kimsufi KS-7 for my needs?
Hey guys, I'm looking for a dedicated server or VPS (if appropriate) to run an SRCDS server. It can't utilise multiple cores or even threads and the higher the clock speed the better - similar to how OVH's gaming boxes are using desktop CPUs. RAM isn't a concern, anything 1GB or over is fine. Preferably it should have decent-ish disk space.
I've had the Kimsufi KS-7 for a while (I believe they've recently renamed it to that from the KS-3C) but I'm wondering if there's something better.

Had a quick look, 2.8GHz is too low.
"KS3C" should get i3-2130, it got: i5-3570S CPU @ 3.10GHz
"KS4C" should get: i5-2300, it got: i5-3570S CPU @ 3.10GHz
"KS4C" should get: i5-2300, it actually got the same processor.
"KS4C" should get: i5-2300, it got: i5-2400 @ 3.10Ghz
"KS1" should get: D425, it got: N2800
What OVH says there, thats the minimal hardware, we will deliver.
There is a not small chance, to get better hardware.
Look at the benchmarks, these are dimensions, some of them have 6.7k benchmark.
Do you mean recently, or just in that one fantastic flash sale a couple years back? There was a later flash sale in which people got the advertised cpu.

The last 2, are recent.
The rest is from old flashsale, but it seems like, it does not really changed.

We use Xeon X5690 @ 3.47GHz for KVM servers and Intel Xeon X5675 @ 3.07GHz for Xen servers, so would just need to know the hard disk specs and ram that are required.

But seriously, the package has 4GB of RAM.
It wouln't suprise me if we get to see that here in the coming summer.
