If you are looking for at least 512MB memory, then consider this option
SSD 512 KVM is for $2.50 per month

With the coupon ZHUJICEPING it is 30% off (recurring), the effective monthly rate would be $1.75 per month

are virmach any good?
Yes they are fine. Or if you want something really cheap (no dedicated ipv4), try lowendspirit.com and similar (annual only but like $3-4 a year).
https://www.deepnetsolutions.com/openvz-vps.html $1.5/m USD
Only if you want to idle your VPS, in my experience.
Promocode ROYALS - £4.80/Q (~$2/Month) Chicago, IL |

Let me know and I can offer the above pricing in a monthly equivalent.
Virmach is capable of doing something casual. I put some static pages and a nginx reverse proxy to wikipedia, and they run pretty smooth.
Think of anything you can buy for the same price. Virmach is as good as that.

How many users per CPU core?
In other words, what is the fair share percent for the vCore?
My VPS with Virmach are running pretty good, and thanks for the $12.5/y VPS, got one
Yeah virmach are good, shame they don't offer UK vps though.
Indeed they don't offer UK VPSs, but they offer Amsterdam and Frankfurt if you are looking for a European based VPS.
For US, besides virmach, you can check out impactvps.com as well.
We do have a small 256MB KVM plan in both US & UK for $15/year. Deploy one now @ https://bonsai.vmhaus.com
