[Question] - KVM, Price is right?
I'm considering adding IPv4 KVM to my services and I'm looking for locations.
Would this level of price be interesting in, for instance, Jacksonville?
2vCPU, 256mb, 5GB, 500GB => $2,50/month (quarterly payment)
4vCPU, 512mb, 10GB, 1TB => $3,50/month (quarterly payment)
4vCPU, 1024mb, 20GB, 1TB => $6/month
4vCPU, 2048mb, 40GB, 2TB => $15/month
Pure SSD, RAID10, 1 IPv4 (more could be added).
Why Jacksonville as an example? I've had service there before and the speed was ok even for me, being in Europe.
Comments
They seem in line with other KVM plans I've seen, but I don't have any use cases for one.
Sydney, Australia
I do NAT there and if you are looking for regular IPv4 plans. @Oliver got you covered
Use Psychz.net Ashburn, VA location, with at least 20gbit ddos mitigation.
Meh, main differentiator I see is more cores than usual, and that's an abuse vector in its own right. Small KVMs are such a commodity now that it's hard to make an impression.
What model CPU will you be using?
Please explain the vCPU definition in those package..
Nothing decided but it would be in the E5 family.
Shared, not dedicated. Thread/core.
Is there a reason as to why you decided to make your pricing non-linear ($6 for 1024 MB, $12 for 2048 MB)?
No special reason, added an extra TB of bandwidth
