Don't need it? Don't use it. If it's OpenVZ it's shared and the hardware is probably oversold: it will be used by other people needing it, or to cache some files.
Don't worry about that... be happy to have too much in case you need more in the future and forget it!
Create a ramdisk and serve static files from it.
It should be a bit faster than ssd
