Need cheapest Dedicated Server possible
I need the cheapest dedicated server possible. I just want to experiment with a dedicated server. I got no requirements, I just want the cheapest dedi out there as long as it's not some provider who's deadpooling soon. If anyone has recommendations for me, that would be great. Thanks!

Kimsufi KS-1
I need something in stock... I looked at Kimsufi and Ikoula already. Wondering if that Green G3900 for 9.99 euros a month is recurring discount.
Use this or this to get notifications when KS stock becomes available.
Well is there anyone that I can grab soon...
scaleway C1 (ARM-based)
Maybe grab a cheap Raspberry Pi colocation somewhere?

Scaleway?
How's Scaleway's C1? Not expecting anything, but at least is it useable for light loads?
It depends. Do your applications support ARM? That's the most important question.
Hmm... Proxmox can't run on ARM enviroments can it?

Would you consider this cheap? cheapest
That is not cheap at all. I could get roughly eight Kimsufi servers in place of what you told me to get. Self advertise somewhere else where it's actually useful for someone...
Nah was just asking if that would be cheap enough given the hardware. I thought you were looking for something powerful at a normal cost.
No... I'm looking for something dirt cheap right now since it's not actually much of a load on one.
Scaleway C1 at 3 euro. Not a joke. I have one and it's nice. Slow but nice.

Wholesaleinternet.com starts from 10-25$
Any benchmarks of that one?
If you have to ask, it's probably too slow for you . It's about like a raspberry pi 2. Roughly speaking each core is about like 1/10th of a current fast i7/E3 core. If you're not doing too much heavy computation, it's fine. It compiles ffmpeg from source in about 20 minutes, vs around 3 minutes on an i7-3770.
Added: in total CPU it's probably a little bit faster than a KS-1. The individual ARM cores are slower than the KS-1's Atom cores, but there are 4 of them instead of 2.
But you asked for cheap AND available so there’s that...
Hello,
Nope, that price is for three months maximum and if you want it for three months you have to pay upfront.
Maybe Xeon X5650 8GB DDR3 - 1TB SATA Por $9.90
?
Dang it, alright thanks!
Hmm... I'd rather get a Kimsufi even if it's at 10 euros a month, not exactly wanting to give up $84/mo...
Consindering the amount of servers available right now for < $84 (not even going to list them) i think it's safe to say this offer is really a bit misplaced here.
@spectraip
Is that a request or an offer? If an offer then I'd be interested in kicking such a machine around.
If this is an offer, count me in.
Me too!
I would be intrested as well if this is in EU.
We would all be interested if only that person told us where we could grab it... @georgedatacenter
