cPanel Inbound Spam Filter

Hi guys,

Could anyone recommend some inbound and outbound spam filtering solutions for cPanel?

I was thinking of either using SpamExperts or ASSP Deluxe.

There's a lot of positive feedback for SpamExperts out there - but cost is a factor at this stage. Could anyone recommend a good reseller?

I couldn't find much feedback for ASSP Deluxe - is anyone using it and would recommend it?

Is there another solution someone could recommend?

Thanks!

  • Saw a thread about Spamexperts recently on another forum. Not sure what the cost is but my experience with them is great. There was a suggestion for magicspam which looks to be reasonable. Not sure how great it is though so you'll have to do some reading.

    If you're not ready to go via the paid route, you could use MailScanner + SpamAssassin combo, which is free and works pretty well when configured correctly.

    We offer both inbound and outbound spam filtering:
    inbound: SpamExperts (per domain pricing)
    outbound: Mailchannels (per 1k email pricing

    Let me know if you're interested...

    @CrossBox interesting thank you!

    @gleert I'm interested! What's your inbound pricing like? Outbound is on your site right?

    No love for ASSP Deluxe?

    Inbound depends on the number of domains. Can you give me some more info?

    Outbound is on our site

    Make sure you have 1gb of ram minimum if you are going to be running these.

    Don't suppose you have a link to a good tutorial/how to by any chance?

    @gleert 20-30 domains?

    @HarborVPS good to know thanks! Server will probably have 4GB of RAM.

    That would cost 1€/domain/month paid per year
