recomendation for cheap South east asia VPS

hello,

I would like to buy OVZ/KVM VPS for South east asia region, Is there any recomendation? because I have very limited budget, it is easy to get cheap $/year in US but I don't know about south east asia

    It's a little hard looking for a cheap VPS in Southeast Asia. I think DO still have the best price/performance now.

    Ditto, it's really frustrating to find a cheap but decent VPS in SE Asia.

    Your options with those specs would be the usual: Vultr/Digital Ocean/Linode for $5/month.

    HostUs also have the following:

    conoha is awesome. it starts at ~$8.25/mo though.

    ed: nm, I guess Japan is 'east asia'? though worldatlas also has china in east asia, and not southeast asia. southeast asia would be countries like malaysia, singapore, thailand, etc.

    ed2: i've used greencloudvps before. i was happy with it. it's in vietnam. starts at $10 (err, $12 now)

    Geographically, Japan may not be in SEA but it nevertheless has good connections in the region.

    Some connections in the region even goes to Tokyo before bouncing back to, say, Singapore, instead of going to Singapore directly.

    We have HOSTUS OVZ 768mb/30gb/580gb in both SG & HK. (Black Friday promo) Definitely great for the money. Support is superb.

    Also have VULTR (SG) which is actually somewhat faster. They have an easy standing promo for first signups, ($25 free). So, put $10 in, you get the free $25 = $35. Seven months ($5/mo) of full KVM 1gb/25gb/1tb for $10. So during that time, you can look for other promos and add them to your account.

    If you are physically here in SE Asia, both of these products are XLNT.

    Avoid OVH SG. High latency, sporadic, problematic. Got a refund, (something we virtually never do).

    I dont know with another SEA, but Vultr have "problematic" latency accessed from Indonesian provider.

    Another SEA provider I havent tried is gigsgigscloud, they have cheap pricing.
