Need 4-8 cores server for mining crypto.

WHTWHT Member

Well I got infected with electroneum. Trying to mine on mobile but am getting like 1 coin per 2 days. Now I want to try with some i7 processor with min 4 cores.

Any idea where to get one for cheap? I mean really cheap like 10-15 EUR month. Am not sure
how much can I mean, if I mine like 50% more as the server costs will order multiple.

Thank you very much!

Even better, create a porn site with background mining scripts.

for the moment etn is in bad period... so depend of what you look for.

Yeah ETN is pretty bad, not convinced it'll ever go back up.
With mining, I was consuming 1.000~1.025 kW with 4x dual Xeon E5-2670 boxes. So that's about 250W/box (16 cores, 40MB total cache) which costs approximately £22/month in electricity for about 920H/s on Cryptonight.

I could host you but for the margins that would actually be worth my time, and the crappiness of the service I can offer from my ShedDC, I don't think you'd want it.

Maybe someone want to sell ETN to save me some time?

    Step 1: Buy server

Step 2: Use server as a digital apartment complex

Step 3: Rent out space via KVM

Step 4: Actually make some money

    But seriously though,

"Now I want to try with some i7 processor with min 4 cores." for $10-$15 just isn't feasible.

It's going to be seriously hard to ever turn mining profitable unless you have a reliable coin you can mine for years to make back your investment.

And, you have to own the hardware.

The cheapest i7 would probably be SYS, https://www.soyoustart.com/us/game-servers/

You have to understand, if any server was cheap enough to be profitable mining a coin that you could rent, it would sell out in minutes.

Other people would love to do the exact same thing.

    Dogecoin disagrees.

So you need ETN or you want to mine ETN to get profits?

    min. one of those :)

  • @WHT I’d sell you some, but a certain company (COUGH cryptopia) is forcing me to hodl. I was going to sell it at 9 cents per ETN, but Cryptopia’s ETN wallet “died” before I could :(

You know what I always say.

    The end is nigh.

I bought in at 6c and was planning to exchange it back into BTC when it hit below 9c.

I can’t sell it to you anyway, because Cryptof*cktopia still has my coins.
