Even 3 VPS (two nameservers and one big cPanel VPS) on the same dedicated server is still cheaper than ripoff license for solo cPanel.
Does Cpanel check if VPS licence on Dedi?
Yes, it checks if this is a VM - if it’s not a VM or it’s unable to confirm it’s a VM license will be invalid.
However, it can’t check if it’s “one big vm on a dedi” and the vps license doesn’t limit you in terms of cores, memory, etc.
I’m not trying to cheat cPanel, but for many years they’ve coyly refused to clarify because all the Internet legends work to their benefit. They should state their policy in their license.
How can one check if it's dedi or vps?
