Bitcoin Blockchain Contains Child Pornography

  • Pi contains all the child pornography every created and all the child pornography that will ever be created, not to mention every movie ever made, every episode of Scooby Doo, complete instructions for making an atomic bomb, and photos of Ricardo showering in the nude that were never taken.

Not persistent though. Better off with an infinitely long punch tape.

My comment was mostly aimed at the brain analogy as some posters seemed argue that getting the data in question would need some creative interpretation, cherry picking or even bad faith.

The brain comment was a bit tongue in cheek, I wouldn't like to be the defendant trying to argue that [data (information) that takes the form of something]->[encryption black box] no longer contains said information even though the black box is reversible. If it were defensible then encrypted hard drives would be safe havens for any content.

btw, just rambling some thoughts that come to mind, I don't have a dog in the fight.

The biggest joke is that there's such a concept as "illegal data" in the first place.

There are even top providers who immediately terminate your account and charge you $50 "IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS FOUND TO CONTAIN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, ILLEGAL MP3 FILES, [...], OR ANY OTHER ILLEGAL FILES."

Presumably the $50 fee it's symbolic and is not actually recoverable? We just terminate abusers. Is there any real method of collecting on abuse?

Debt collectors as with any contract breach.

It's easy to think this when you come from a country that produces little data or intellectual property or designs that are worth anything... when you come from a country that gets its wealth from selling important natural resources at market prices and then distributes that wealth like peanuts.

Oh really? I thought blocking orders from Brazil and China is the secret behind them.
