noVNC
i just view the html source, of the site trying to load the java app, to get the VNC host ip and port, then I copy+paste those into my vnc app. I don't do java.
Edit: I now see that you are trying to host a VNC server connection without a Java Applet, all within a webpage. Just put the VNC ip and port info on the webpage, and perhaps a link to download a VNC client.
................That's not going to happen
:-(
Be a groundbreaker. ;-)
Hi, how did you make that working on IE8? I tried the web-socket-js proxy and still got JS error in IE8.
Ok. I saw you use Java in Backupsy client side......
@Francisco Did you get rid of Java and use something else to do VNC?
IE8 users don't need Javaless VNC
Why? In light of JAVA vulnerability, lots of people has restricted Java.
If they're stupid enough to use IE8, they're stupid enough to use Java.
No, we ended up having to add it back and give it an option drop down, like so:
Notice JAVA has a tear next to it. >_>

I found only this Guacamole project :

no. Just bad publicity with Java previously and lots of them block it. Also, you are going to see a serials of strange warnings before it allow you to run a Java program. None geeks usually got confused by those warnings.
