    DireVPS actually matches the criteria - located in the UK, 4GB, 100GB disk, £4 (a little under $7).

    For both performance and uptime I'd pick Openvz.io (Iniz, Amsterdam) over both Waveride (Edis, Vienna) and OverZold (Prometeus, Milan). I use all 3 "big RAM" providers and Openvz.io has had the best uptime while Waveride has suffered from frequent node reboots. For a performance comparison:

    I have obtained one now from a custom quote, but had to settle for 3Gb RAM which will be okay for the time being. Next time I will wait longer :)
