I get 60Mbps/25Mbps from a local WISP in Czechia.
Dedicated IPv4, /64 IPv6, 1:4 ratio (in reality the speeds are fairly stable) served fresh over 5GHz.

What kinda equipment are they using?

Ubiquiti Nanobridge M5 is what I have on my roof. Forgot to mention the price, oops - $20/month

  • It seems a bit expensive.

Spectranet possibly ?? But bad network

  • Looks like Europe is quite cheap when compared to rest of the world. Elecrricity also looks pretty cheaper.

  • I am on ABN with 60/20 for $22-25/m incl. tax. No FUP.

Mixing the oversold consumer bandwidth with the actual wholesale rates for guaranteed bandwidth doesn’t make sense.

I'm on FTTP with 100/40 for ~$105 AUD/month. I get charged $3.50 daily for this and can change plans in tiers up to 1000/400 for $14.5/day. Only takes about 20 minutes to change speeds with no service impact.

Which suburb are you in offering gigabit NBN connection?

    1Gbit Up/Down [200GB Cap] @ Rs.999 ~ 15USD/month (India)

  • @trewq said:
It's using the NBN, we are very lucky here to have a company driving new offerings. No one else in Australia offers Gigabit to residential customers off the shelf. The one company that tried to do it in one town on the mainland has canned it.

And here is where DTAG offers 1Gbit in my city... Other providers? Hah.

At home I have a 75/7 cable connection for $50 CAD (about $40 USD at current exchange rates)

  • 20Mbit/5Mbit for $37 too expensive.

I get about 35/7, although I'm paying for 60/20. Until they relay the cable out here, I doubt it's going to change. ~$70/mo.

    100/100Mbit full-duplex fiber, AS8275, 50€/month = 6€, 1x dynamic IPv4, no IPv6

    24/1Mbit ADSL, AS1299, 30€/month = 15€, 5x dynamic IPv4 and IPv6 /56

    100Mbit 4G, AS1299, 16,9€/months = 2€, NAT IPv4 and 1x dynamic IPv6

    In Finland and all unmetered.

  • 1mbit/1mbit unmetered. ggc (youtube and other google services) 10mbit, countrywide ix connectivity(torrents) 50mbit - 10$/mo. Could get 5x internet speed in that price if I moved to a big city.
