"Don't stop me now": SolusVM 1.20.04 released
I just got this mail:
SolusVM 1.20.04 Released.
Hello Ed
Wouldn't it be nice if you could offer your customers a way to stay online when their site experiences explosive growth?
Now you can with the release of SolusVM 1.20.04, introducing the ability to rate limit virtual machines that reach their bandwidth limit, rather than taking them offline with a hard suspension.
We’ve added a new feature, allowing you to rate limit virtual machines that reach their bandwidth limit. Need inspiration on how to sell virtual machines using the functionality? We’ve put together a few examples on our blog.
We’ve fixed a bug that prevents KVM virtual machines from starting upon node reboot.
We’ve reduced the amount of communication that is sent between the master & slave, which improves performance in high density environments.
In addition to the software release, we have also released a new version of the WHMCS module, which has fixed a bug with usage graphs.
Don’t stop me now… instead of suspending users, rate limit them!

f you beat me!
Don’t let that stop you now
Instead of releasing v2, SolusVM released v1.2.0000000.1
And it's better than nothing.
@anthonysmith now you can ban them
Yep, all positive moves forward, not sure why things are still being excluded from the web UI and why customers still get an email saying their service is suspended when it is not but in terms of features, its progress! just cant see it being adopted much in its current form.
Nice! The kid they hired on Fiverr finally got back to them with the latest update.
Feels like 2014.
Invest in Bitcoin, thank me later.
I think it's time to embarrass @OnApp_Terry again.
Since you blew through your 9/20/2017 promise of Solus 2...are you game to make a new fantasy date?

SolusVM: "We released this cool new feature!"
Anthony:
This is why you're awesome.
I wonder if OnApp will even bother posting here anymore with the regime change.
Also, Title should still be Queen related, but: I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike!
I was confused when I saw this because I'm on "1.20.05 Beta" already?
Shut it Samwise!
also, I have a massive beard, aside from that, pretty accurate :-s
