Why we cant easily buy kimsufi's cheapest servers?

Whenever I look it says replenished.... Why they dont fix this problem like having much more servers is a best bet maybe?

Kimsufi sell those servers using old and refurbished hardware to earn as much as they can, so solving this problem using new hardware is not a way to go.

It’s often said that it would be best if Kimsufi just had loads of servers lying around so we can just pick one up on a whim whenever and wherever.

For some reason, they’re hesitant to adopt this approach, but I can’t think why...

  • Don't think they buy new servers all the time, for then leasing them out for "nothing". I have used their cheap servers for years, and it still the same old hardware. Most Gen 2 and Gen 3 Intel CPUs.
So maybe next time they do a major upgrade on their more expensive servers, we can finally see some "newer" Gen 4+ servers on Kimsufi for cheap.

Have you tried using https://checkservers.ovh/ ? This and similar utilities (ie, https://check.ovh/) may be helpful - I have heard people also sometimes write a script to check for particular model's order page.

If a model is in high demand it may not become available except for at whatever random time existing customer cancels one - so checking regularly will increase odds to get one. Have also heard people may have better luck checking at certain times of day, not sure about that but seems plausible.

That's just the nature of the beast for a low-margin offer currently in high demand. Occasionally a large batch are returned to the pool by an exisiting customer - I believe that it may be worth to keep an eye on availability especially over the next few days. Good luck!
