    • Inception Hosting - @AnthonySmith always friendly, helpful and fast support!
    • Netcup - cheap, reliable, great webinterface
    • Gullo's Hosting - @Cam thx for the cheap boxes

Honorable Mention: AlphaVPS - Unlucky circumstances lead to not having a server with them, but @AlexBarakov was very kind anyway :)

    Thanked by 2AnthonySmith Cam
  • I didnt buy many VPS this year (well, not as many as last year) as I was mostly on a dedi trip, but these three are always on my list, so my votes go to them:

    1. @DavidGestionDBI
    2. @Virmach
    3. @AnthonySmith

Sadly, there was no good low end dedi provider this year.

Only voting for providers I actually use, so:

    1: BuyVM

    2: HostHatch

    3: Hetzner

Honourable mention: ZXHost. They had a rough end to this year, but their services are still quite solid and will use them again should needs arise.

  • For US region

    1. ImpactVPS

Love the double credits they offer time to time and the network is great. Good performance with their servers.

But I'm not happy with some negatives that need to improve upon:

    a) Ticket response from last 3-4 months has gone way up while it used to be a < hour before in 2016

    b) Some weird disk space calculation bug that automatically downsizes my VMs storage and needs to be fixed by your staff manually over a ticket

I'm sure they can get around with shortcomings and become good to great

    2. UltraVPS.com & VPEasy (Fiberhub)

Not really much on LET now but amazing uptime and performance servers

    3. ProviderService (aka UltraVPS.EU)

their LA Quadranet servers perform very well and pricing is decent too.

    4. SystemOnGrid

New entrant but good performance overall, I like their dedication in improving features. Really has the scope to grow. Free 1GB VPS through throttled works fine too as a sandbox.

    For EU region

    1. Netcup

    handsdown

    2. Hetzner

    for the amazing discounted dedis

Alright. Done all up to this point (except mehargags).

If you want to edit your votes I suggest posting a new comment and mentioning you're editing. Spreadsheet is available in the original post for transparency.

@hawc you better be paying me for this ;-)

So far... 108 people voted for their top 3, 45 people voted for their best newcomer... that gives you a 47.2% chance of winning a prize (if my maths is correct...)
