You don't understand what it said, and didn't read. The "default" partition only makes a root and leaves the rest up to you. Load up cfdisk/fdisk and partition the rest as you want it. Their panel takes some getting used to.

Ok... can you tell how to make use of remaining space?

    thanks

I just did. You might consider looking up resources on how to partition remaining space under Ubuntu. There's a great wealth of information available on forms and blog posts about this.

  • @seenu - adding to what @WSS has already said, you can try to use gparted (available from their list of standard DVD/ISO bootable media) to reconfigure/resize (without data loss) the partition table to suit your needs as it may be easier than gdisk or other cli tools.

  • just use the second partition option during install from template, not the first one.

also for changing language to english click Optionen (top right), Einstellungen (left) and then choose english from where it reads Sprache (middle). confirm by entering your password in the according field and save... reload the panel.

    is it really that hard?

I have a smaller "Root server" and it perform better.

I actually cancelled my root server because it gets throttled and my plex wasn't performing well. At first it rocked so hard but after a day of utilizing it, the performance degraded heavily.
Nonetheless, I would take it again in the future but not for transcoding-heavy apps.

i can confirm that, performance drops ~50% when using the "dedicated" cores 24/7 on 100%

    It's demicated cores.

    Really? What happened?

Hi there, do you have any geekbench of your throttled Cores service, which is an Rootserver?

Unfortunately, I was not able to keep any of it.

Its very easy for me :) I can use the whole space by selecting the second partitions layout in my first attempt (well I can read properly either).

I would if they won't throttle it down.

Can't no one post a bench? I'd love to see that they're really throttling it. That'd kill them.
