WTB : small LXC container
I'd like to get a small LXC VM to experiment with.
Price: $15/annual (so you can stop reading now).
Minimal specifications (feel free to do better):
- Memory : 384 mB
- Disk : 8 gB
- Port: 100 mbps
- Transfer: 100 gB (monthly)
- Location: eastern US
- Usage : web stack (nginx, php, mariadb) on CentOS 7. Port 25 blocked is fine.

What do you intend to install on a 8mb disk?
Maybe Nat based VPS is ok for you?
Would prefer an ipv4....
Tall order for $15/yr.
If 256MB RAM & 5GB disk is enough we can do NVMe etc at $15/yr
Maybe. But it's minimal. I have 3 OpenVz VMs with better specs at that price, up for 2+ years.
Thanks. I could maybe live with the smaller disk but not the RAM.
We offer LXC in Tampa but the budget needs to be raised or less RAM provided. Our IP costs alone account for 80% of your budget.
For a couple dollars more, we have 512MB/5GB KVM for $17.50. (See sig).
I like @ionswitch - using their $22.5 / year NVMe KVM in Seattle. Curious but haven't yet checked if they might also offer east coast location as requested?
if LXC is prefered for some reason, maybe check if @LaunchVPS or @HostFav can do something for you. I know both offer LXC and have presence on east coast, not sure if any current offers fit your budget/specs though
@sleddog we can provide in NY.
@sleddog We can do this in Philadelphia:
If this suits you, please order here. Price is $14.95 /yr.
Thank you.
@sleddog you are alive! Long time no see man. Also I can't say enough good things about @launchvps. They are ontop of things there, good support and nice, not overloaded servers.
