smtp newbee here. I'd like to ask why the 10k/month offered @ 39eur/yr would be better than amazon SES 62k/month free outbound messages. You only need a $34/yr t2.nano reserve instance to be able to get that (or $57 for 3 years).

Since aws ec2 incoming bandwidth cost is free, all that is needed is a c++/go server on that t2.nano to serve the SES api over http2/websocket/etc.

Is there a hidden cost I'm missing? Not to bash on thread owner, I'm just curious.

@dyu It's meant more for normal email sending from a mail server than transactional mail. It gets you higher deliverability than an SES or Send Grid. It's built for web hosts to get better delivery for their customers because it'll block outbound spam.

Normal email providers will just suspend your account if you send spam. Mailchannel blocks it and provides you full information to trace down accounts which are sending spam.
