Cloudflare 502 Bad Gateway

Hi all,

I have searched through internet and it showed me nothing, so, as you guys sucks rocks, I tough this very precious community should help me.

My site kinda of obscure and I use Clouflare with it, it worked great until this morning, now it only say 502 Bad gateway, but if I access the very same server using direct IP or other domain, it work fine. What may cause that? Is Cloudflare tell me to fuck off their system with my shit website?

Unlikely, I'd expect e-mail from Cloudflare support and other type of error if they're concerned about your particular website. Check your webserver settings, any chance its proxying to something behind of it? E.g. nginx to php-fpm or such.

My server is pretty basic, only a bunch of .html files and .png, using standard nginx, so, configuration isn't the problem, I suppose, and I don't even have php-fpm installed. I use Cloudflare to access my IPv6 only site using IPv4-only networks, besides that, it's kinda of non-useful for me.

I had 4 domains pointing to it (3 top domain, and 1 sub-domain), all those 3 domains are not working anymore, but my sub-domain (that I rarely use), still working fine. That's why I think my problem is Cloudflare relate, because my server seems to be working fine.

Can you open a support ticket with the specific region that the issue was occuring from, the time frame it happened in, and that your server logs show no corresponding 502 with Cloudflare? They take a few days for non-paid accounts, but they have helped me troubleshoot in the past.

More data the better.
