Are you’ve aware that Vanilla is the shitty software that powers LET? It barely works (polls broken, etc.), frequently crashes and is rather vulnerable to exploitation.

Yes I know. That why I suggesting to him hahaha. Very ultra simple hahaha

You may hate vanilla , I have seen two very active who is on vanilla besides LET , Users love it due to simplicity in using it . Same reason why LET is active and why WHT/vpsboard is near death or already dead .

I agree WHT/vpsboard is dying, but not because of software. I didn't leave WHT because it was hard to use :)

Although, having an "all threads" homepage without categories/subforums would be a great improvement, and whatever forum software you choose, you should make sure it has a homepage like LET, where you can see all the threads at once.

It maybe true for you as you are very technical than average users on Internet , but less technical users love forums like vanilla type in home page . It is just quite easy to post and reply in here . I am not saying vanilla is best but have many bugs. But user interface is nicer than most softwares .

example for this education forum in India which is quite active
