    So this is my second 2GB from them. I still have 2GB, I suppose I need to wait to get the 512 mb.

    So this node have only 16 GB, I suppose Chris will later upgrade it to at least 24 GB like the old one. It use a powerfull Intel Xeon E31270. I don't know if we can judge the performance by these benchmark because I seem alone on this node(I get a high and constant iops of 6000). Great for 7$ but I still don't know how Chris can offer this price...

    We use the Intel E3-1270s as well, they are absolutely stellar processors.

    @dwild, we will be upgrading all nodes to 32GB with the memory sticks become available again. Unfortunately all 8GB sticks were sold out and was a massive shortage for the past 2-3 months.

    We have some on order and should see them in the next 2 weeks :)

    16G node? Assume you put 2x 16G of clients on that, I still wonder how can you profit from this. Anyway really tempting offer, really. :P

    ChicagoVPS is located in Chicago... Therefore one can infer that the special was meant for CST (GMT -6).
