    I assume you are looking for something outside of China but with good performance TO China?

    Go for alibabacloud.com. They have pops in Japan, HK, and SG, which peers directly w/ CT/CU.

    The wall is getting higher and higher every year. Some Linode Japan and Vultr Japan IP addresses are either already blocked or will be as soon as you start using them. Aliyun HK is good but expensive, though some people have found it doesn't work for them anymore. In this environment, asking for "better" is not the right question. You have to fly under the radar and find one that works at all, even if it is not "better" than what you had before.

    Not sure what you mean here. Vultr don't offer China servers so it's not local.
