    you need to setup the nameservers first or just use A records, if it's confusing? I recommend than google and full managed service is for you.

    It's quite simple.

    If want to do this on same server, simply link another IP to your current IPv4.

    If you want to do this on another server in different location as failover or load balancer, simply host the same content on both server/IP and add a A record for another IP.

    This type setup helps to keep your website always online. If server 1 going down, server 2 will still keep your website online. You'll also get some more benefits like a CDN or Anycast from this.

    You may add as much as you want server/IP by using *A** records. But, having more than 4 IPs for same domain is not recommended.
