@muzo Id prefer kvm
We have currently OpenVZ and Xen in UK, DE, US, FR, CH. OpenVZ plans : https://www.qhoster.com/clients/cart.php?gid=4 and Xen plans : https://www.qhoster.com/clients/cart.php?gid=11
@qhoster xen 1gb ram would do in germany but your prices are a bit high. max 10$/month
You can use direct link for 512MB Xen we have: https://www.qhoster.com/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=68
@qhoster how about offering 1 GB ?
For 1GB you need to submit the order and email the sales to adjust the price for you to $10/mo: https://www.qhoster.com/clients/submitticket.php
@qhoster is it with 100 Mbps link? Seems a bit saturated, as download from Germany testfile varied between 1MB - 10 MB/s and then averaged at 2.8 MB/s. I tested from a gigabit line from Europe. Ping was 30 ms.
All our servers are at 1Gbit port. Only UK VPS is 100Mbit.
@qhoster But its pretty saturated then. A gigabit should yield over 20 MB/s.
Depend of the provider some cheap providers do not go over 1-2MB.s Wget from server contains our speedtest file:
[root@host09 src]# wget http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test

@qhoster But where I tested its full gigabit, and I've gone over 20-30 MB/s to NL
and USA.
Can you put a test file on a germany Xen box that I could test that?
The test file/s are on 1Gbit port. Location is Dusseldorf, DE.
Now I got 8 MB/s.. I'll think about this.. sounds tempting, I might order tomorrow!
You can also try the Swiss location:
http://speedtest-ch1.qhoster.com/100mb.bin
IP : 31.7.63.130
Can get better times.
even worse 500 KB/s
test this 176.9.38.210/100M.dat
What's up with the unnecessary uses of the letter 'a' lately in your posts?
@ngstargate what location / offer is this? 10.5 MB/s
