Is the "storage" based on SSDs?
Nope, these are standard HDD.
What annoys me is that a few hosting resellers who attempt to start a hosting company have zero knowledge on managing servers or security. Now, this doesn't mean much when they use a reseller account, but when they move to a VPS/dedicated server, if they choose to manage it themselves, they deliberately put customer data on the line.

How does the Free Comodo AutoSSL work? Is that only for the cpanel addresses or does it cover host names added into cpanel
Not at this time. Maybe in future.

Can you elaborate what you mean by hostnames and addresses? Any domain/sub-domain that resolves to the server's IP will have a certificate issued and installed for it on all services (HTTPS, FTPS, Mail, etc)
I signed up for reseller 50, added a test sub domain to an account.. and it works. the web server is responding to request for the domain.. but when access through HTTPS, it uses a self signed certificate.. I couldn't find a way to tell it to use this AutoSSL function other then upload my own or purchase one from Comodo
How new is the sub domain? The server checks and issues certificates once every 24 hours currently. If you want one manually issued, please open a ticket and we can handle it.
You have to make sure that no certificates are installed already (even self signed), because the server won't overwrite existing certificates. It will only install it onto domains without a certificate.
Sub Domain was pretty new.. Though I didn't tell it to create the self signed ones.. It did that on its own..
