Mail channel Resellers?

MikePTMikePT Moderator, Patron Provider, Veteran

Hi folks

Got a few issues delivering email currently. Gmail is flagging the emails as spam etc. Any mail channel resellers? Need a small volume plan, needs to be fully integrated to cpanel and I should have access to the control panel to manage statistics etc.

Cheers

Doesn't MXroute / @Jarland use mail channels as one of their outgoing routes?

Direct mail channels is best and I'm not reselling yet as the WHMCS module is modulesgarden trash. @gleert is the one to use, but eventually he's gonna upgrade WHMCS and hit the same problem.

Do they not accept individuals? I don't have a EU VAT ID :p

Ignore me. WHMCS form validation was being funky.

Used @gleert for Mailchannels for a limited time in the past, worked quite well when i used it, Mailchannels insights was quite good for looking email delivery status.

Weird Gmail does not usually mark the email as spam unless the email content looks spammy or email hardfail spf or your sending from a quite toxic ip address.

A anonymous source, who may or may not work for a company starting with G, once told me that IP ranges can be marked as spam. I've never witnessed this in practice, but the source was credible.

Even worse, it's purely cPanel update status / JetBackup notifications, etc. No spamming occuring in the server, at all.

Small insight. This is an online.net IP, it was listed in SNDS.

I'm registered in SNDS as well as their junk mail program, all signed, etc, and the IP was still banned. I had to contact Microsoft twice so they would remove it. They removed it, then they replied to me (after removing) that it couldn't be removed...
Anyway, they removed it and it works fine for microsoft now. However, the issue with Gmail is just... Meh. Time to test mail-channels.

@gleert. Do you give access to the MailChannel portal?

    Any screenshots for the panel?

Also how does the cPanel integration work?

    You change your exim config.

    https://gist.github.com/anonymous/66d24f97008bf54861bf99fc7931eb2a

The config is a bit modified compared to to what mailchannels themselves suggest:

    • I exclude root@server-fqdn (change) since I don't wanna send mails from root via mail-channels, ecluding mailer-daemon since it usually causes a bounce (mailchannels simply block mailer-daemon emails 90% of the time).
    • Implement DKIM

Looks good. I should give it a try soon.
