Lol, do you know how much power those things use?

WSI has them cheap, but not THAT cheap.

  • I don't get why you want an e5-2670 of all things with only 4gb ram. Why can't you get an e3? E3s power up at 0.4-0.5. These things are at 1a-1.5a

maybe he just wants to run a multi-threaded 'something' and wants a number of cores over clock speed.

    Still an unrealistic budget.

Dont spam and learn to English please.

  • Well, i can raise budget... maybe 50$ is too low.
I can try VPS but in my (little) experience performance is variable.

WSI has that conf at 69$/month but out of stock.

Yes, i need to run CPU intensive multi-threaded code; good if i can do it for a low budget.
Xeon-E5 do it very well (with big L3 Cache) but i can try other platforms, if they have better price/performance ratio.

you will still only get 16 threads, op seems to want 32 threads.. for the price of 4 :)

I'm looking for a good price: WSI can do it (but now out of stock), so maybe can others.
I don't need that EXACT conf, but similar specs; decent Xeon with AES-NI, L3 cache and valid price/performance ratio.

  • The group buy special by DbD has 12 threads / 6 cores, not sure if any still available.

The OP surely wants to run XMR-Miners :)

  • Have a look on NOCIX.

2 x Xeon E5-2670 8 GB RAM 1000 GB HDD 70$ would be possible from my side.

Good hint! 59$/month... but out of stock

    Well, at what price?

    1) NOCIX @ $59/month - out of stock

    2) WSI @ $69/month - out of stock

  • Bought from NOCIX, lucky restock. Many thanks to all, maybe i need more soon.

Alright @asalaris , but i listed my price in my asnwer, it was 70$ ^^

  • Sorry, @ChristianDSH, my mistake... Maybe I'm interested in your offer. I'm sending you a pm

  • Are there any more providers that have this for <$100?

  • ChristianDSHChristianDSH Member, Host Rep

@HackedServer depends in what relation your username is to what you're doing with it.

I don't think the public offerings of reputable hosting companies have anything to do with my username on a forum.

  • HackedServer said: public offerings

It sounded like the $70 was a private offer, i.e. extended to one person rather than to the general public, even though it was described out in the open. Would others, such as you, get the same offer if you asked? That's up to him.
