Convert seafile from local disk to AWS storage backend

akhfaakhfa Member

Hi all,

I already have seafile (pro edition < 3 user) with local disk as storage backend. I want to move my storage to s3, like this tutorial
https://manual.seafile.com/deploy_pro/setup_with_amazon_s3.html

Anyone ever try to convert seafile from local disk to s3? I think it is not as simple as change the configuration.

Is it as simple as copy haiwen/seafile-data/storage/* to s3, and then change the seafile configuration?
