  • Just an update on these, they are happening. ETA for availability is early August.

We've also made the decision to allow clients to ship their own hardware (HDDs, SSDs, RAM only) for use in their rented server. There are guidelines that need to be followed to be sure things are received properly. As we receive client-owned parts, you'll be sent a picture of the item as it was received out of all packaging and then it will be installed in your server. Once the client has cancelled their service(s) or if they are terminated due to ToS infringements, their parts will be shipped back at owner's expense.

That is a fairly unique feature, I don't think anyone else does it. You may want to have a RTO option as well for people who send in their own things, I think it would boast pretty well in sales with these features.

  • And here are the final details: http://d.pr/i/Ouiz

Prices have gone up since the original post however I believe the value is well worth it compared to other providers on WHT with similar server configurations.

    Advantages:

    • Gigabit port
    • Out of band access
    • Ship your own hardware
    • Personal support, not looking to get rid of you quick with short answers
    • Free unlimited OS reinstalls
    • 6 hour setup guarantee
    • Unflooded gigabit port, these servers are limited in stock to keep the gigabit connection as fast as possible
  • I would suggest making changes if official price. LEB has rules on max dedi price. Try to fit it.

    Thanked by 1tux
  • I know them. These are not LEB prices, but the standard prices. There might be special LEB/T deals to get them at or below the $49/month requirement. This thread is not an advertisement for them as they are not yet available.

Sounds good. What are your special price? We might be interested.

The discounted price will apply for the first 2 plans only and will be between $40 - $49/mo. However, that price won't be available right away. Seeing as there is limited stock on these, the discount may not go into effect if all available servers in the first 2 plans are taken within the first month.

  • I wish you success with this new offer!

  • At $49/mo I'd be all over those!

  • It seems I forgot to update this. Anyway...now available : )

Jack, I knew I forgot someone.

And I think ChicagoVPS is joining in on the Dedi's with their famous rock bottom prices. Or maybe that was a one time fire-sale type thing.

Nah, that was a one-off popularity stunt to wipe the garage clean from the ebay junk

So I guess you went with Continuum after all?

I did. Despite some doubts, they have been great so far. The network has some surprisingly decent routes to central Europe and Japan.
