Online.net reviews?

in Help
Dear users,
I just saw an offer coming from Online.net about an 8GB RAM dedicated server. It looks attractive, but I want to be sure it's a good deal. Does anyone have a server with them? What about the uptime? Outages? And last but not least at all: is the support good?
I found something about spambots in the past, but I can't find 'dirty IP's' on SpamHaus or so.
Thanks,
Dennis

I have one, server is a Dell R210II , it preforms like you expect it to. Occasional network slowdowns can happen on prime-time.
I found that some places are unroutable and speeds are mere 1-2 Kb/s.
Support is non-existant, unless you speak perfect french and can call them.
Even with premium support option 20€ for 4hr SLA didnt get the answers needed.
Pay peanuts, expect monkeys applies.
They're pretty good, I have the very same 8 GB RAM E3-1220 + 1 TB x 2 (Hardware RAID) and 1 Gbit/sec unmetered (100 Mbit/sec guaranteed) is pretty awesome for the price
Uptime has been 100% since I got it, the server comes with iDRAC (IPMI / KVMoverIP like)
Never needed support so can't say about that.
@SpeedBus: How long are you with them now?
Am I right that you can only buy the servers through the english page here? https://console.online.net/en/order/server
Somebody said you can't buy thorugh the french console if you aren't french and many products aren't available for foreign customers.
@jaakka: Wait, do I have to speak French to get a decent support?
Eek, now they seem to be sold out on the plan.
been about a month
@DennisdeWit , if you use english, they probably dont respond at all. I called them however and spoke in french.
No issues here. They do warn you not to customize any bios settings and such, but at the price they charge I don't blame them. The bandwidth in DC3 has been better than OVH for me. Been a client for about a month.

8G Servers are out of stock.

Same servers, 30 in stock. Why? How? Huh?!
Stock for foreigners is different.
Open a ticket, thats how i got my g2 when they only sold it local.
nice ... im trying to see if i can get a g2 with 500GB disk. hope soo ... tired of ovh 100mbit cap

much appreciated! how long do they take to setup a server?
If memory serves it took me about 24 hours. My memory though...it's a terrible thing.
Actually i got one of the 160GB to test out, took about 15 mins to setup. i really like their control panel for remote installs (:
I just ordered the 2GB one, going to check out if it's better then Kimsufi
Got one, I opened a ticket using my slightly broken French and got a response. Basically the network throughput to the UK was pretty dire but it seems they fixed it with more Level3
