Anyone have host node with OpenVZ7 + KVM + Virtualizor ?

Hello,

i tried OpenVZ6 + KVM (multi virtualization enabled on single host server in Virtualizor panel - http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Multi_Virtualization). It worked with some issues

and i was curious if there is anyone who tried CentOS7+OpenVZ7+KVM+Virtualizor?
Can you share please advise regarding manual configuration needed to make it working?

Thank You

Virtualizor is not providing any support related to Multi Virtualization.
From there side, Its under beta testing.

BTW, We have Centos 6 with OpenVZ share your review in detail about openvz + kvm in centos 6?

Hi, Google it or here is the tutorial i followed: https://goo.gl/uzjtm7

Regarding OpenVZ7, according to this post, it seems it supports KVM (is multi virt.) and probably is supported by Virtualizor. I may try it in the future and share my review. In this topic i wanted to listen experience from LET members.

    I got this server:

    Operating System: OpenVZ release 7.0.4

    CPE OS Name: cpe:/o:virtuozzoproject:vz:7

    Kernel: Linux 3.10.0-514.16.1.vz7.30.15

    Architecture: x86-64

And when i vzmigrate from old OpenVZ 6 (2.6.3 kernel), it says:

Starting live migration of CT 1120 to myovz7serverIP

bash: /etc/init.d/vz: No such file or directory

Error: OpenVZ is not running on the target machine

    Error: Can't continue migration

Any work around to migrate VPS from VZ6 to VZ7 with minimum downtime? I already tried rsyncing /vz/private (from VZ6 to VZ6) and resulting VPS had issues with tty, dev null etc.

Update: there is some script for that: https://openvz.org/Upgrade_script_from_OpenVZ_to_Virtuozzo_7
(if not found, find clones @google: "Additional ssh opts, another key location for example")

It is using this command (and other tasks):

    vzctl --quiet exec $veid tar --numeric-owner $xattrs -cz -C $tmpdir ./ 2>/dev/null | ssh $ssh_opts root@$target tar --numeric-owner $xattrs -xz -C /vz/root/$target_veid > /dev/null 2>&1
But in my case it fails to properly migrate every other VPS, complains about vzquota and 19GB VPS took whole day on 7K RPM drive.
