unbound dns can't resolve certain domains for me?

I have another unbound dns installation working fine with the mostly same config, but on this machine it can't resolve certain domains. I can't figure what I am doing wrong. here is the log file https://pastebin.com/e7W3ugpi for example it works with twitter, google,youtube, but it doesn't work with digitalocean, or androidpolice.com

    update for some reason everything starts once I stopped using my floating ip from digital ocean. I don't understand why the floating ip is causing issues? I used the anchor ip the same way I did on the other machine.
