OpenVZ i7 6700k vs Dedicated i3-2130?

Right now I'm hosting a 40 slot Garry's Mod server on the 1GB OpenVZ VPS from ExtraVM. Currently the CPU when the server is full is between 90-100%. I want to expand to 60 slots.

I was wondering how much OpenVZ affects performance as the single core benchmark difference is around 600 (2349 vs 1757). As Garry's Mod is single threaded, would I need a faster dedicated server to see a difference compared to the VPS?

The dedicated server I'm looking at is the KS-3C from Kimsufi.

Thanks.

Go with dedicated server, but be sure to backup your data if any.

If you have a plan over 1GB Forgot you mentioned plan, PM me and I don't mind increasing your CPU resources some, if that works for you until you find a dedicated server that is powerful enough.
