Test IP seems to be the Asia-optimized one (great for me).

What is CosmosTeck.com's relation to VPSBuster.com?

EDIT: Also, the order page for 128MB plan says 100Mbps port. Can you confirm that it is 1Gbps? Not that I can even use 100Mbps, but some quick bursts would be nice for installing stuff.

EDIT 2: Provisioned near instantaneously. Here's a dd test:

    date;dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync;rm test
    Fri Jul 19 11:03:05 MSD 2013
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 34.1413 s, 31.4 MB/s

Slow, but doesn't really matter for my purposes. Hope the network's decent.

    EDIT 3:

    wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash
    CPU model : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3450 @ 2.67GHz
    Number of cores : 1
    CPU frequency : 1200.000 MHz
Total amount of ram : 192 MB
Total amount of swap : 0 MB
    System uptime : 8 min,
    Download speed from CacheFly: 59.7MB/s
Download speed from Coloat, Atlanta GA: 25.3MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Dallas, TX: 35.1MB/s
Download speed from Linode, Tokyo, JP: 7.23MB/s
Download speed from i3d.net, NL: 8.18MB/s
Download speed from Leaseweb, Haarlem, NL: 6.70MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Singapore: 7.22MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, San Jose, CA: 84.8MB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Washington, DC: 20.8MB/s
    I/O speed : 182 MB/s

Network seems good, and uh the I/O picked up?

EDIT 4: LOL... Sorry for spamming.
Default SolusVM address has no SSL, forced HTTPS SolusVM address shows SSL cert issued to a weird place: cvz01.lax.hardbirch.com....

  • @cosmosteck Is this offer still going on? Can't seem to add to cart

Yep, it would be nice to hear feedback, the 128MB offer is competitive! When will the free 128MB be in stock?

@wellgrounded - which offer, the links works OK for me.
