Which SSD will perform better?

Samsung SSD 850 Evo vs Samsung T3 (external SSD) if BOTH are to be used as external SSD Drives (in which case the 850 evo would be connected to the pc via an external case with usb 3.0 adapter)? Now naturally, ofc the 850 has better results in benchmarking (e.g. CrystalDisk benches) but these benches only show its performance if used as an internal SSD via Sata 3.0 .

Looking to grab either from the Amazon deals :P

Samsung T3 is basically mSATA version of 850evo with sata/usb adapter, all packed in nice enclousure. That's all. They have the same performance. The only difference might be caused by different sata/usb adapter...
