Chevereto 50% Off [offer expired]

dedipromodedipromo Member
edited July 2017 in General

In case anyone needs, the image hosting script Chevereto is offering 50% off of their regular price to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The discount is valid for today, though no time zone is indicated as per their website.

https://chevereto.com/pricing

The license is life-time valid for the current major version 3. The discounted prices are $34 for single-domain and $49 for multiple domain names.

EDIT: If anyone wants to see a demo, here is mine. http://img.bingo Not an ad.

  • Glad to inform that we are using UTC for this offer.

    Cheers,

This looks pretty close to Imgur's previous version. I wonder how this compares to CodeCanyon paid scripts and Github's open source alternatives.

Also, be morally prepared to shell out again for next version. 3rd version is 3-4 years old by now...

I've been eyeing it for a while. I'm down.

but have active development check https://chevereto.com/changelog I trust script chevereto more that script from CodeCanyon

  • @Rodolfo any free upgrade to V4 if we purchase now since it is due soon.

  • I assume this is still in effect

Your purchase is covered with six (6) months of free update fee in the event of the release of a new major version. Purchases out of this range (up to 12 months) get 25% discount on the update fee.

V4 is not under development at all and most likely I will start to work on that next year or even later.

By the way, next release will be v3.10.0 and it will be out within a month.

Regarding those discounts for the upgrade fee, to be honest I'm not sure yet about those. I just want to be fair and I'm not sure about the date ranges or discount rates. What I'm seeing so far is that the discounts aren't good enough.

Demographic, Most people here are likely not trying to run commercial image host clone with ads for revenue, just host their own screenshots/file dump personally.

In my case, that's absolutely true. $34 is much money for a "throw your old images in it"
    kinda stuff.

But still, wishing you good sales guys

You're probably missing something like this - https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-nginx-server-blocks-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-16-04

You'll need to map the directory to a 'site'.

    You mean like this: https://github.com/Chevereto/Chevereto-Free?

There is an Open Source edition which is forked directly from the paid edition. It doesn't come with some features like external storage servers or tech support, but it does all the basic functionalities.

  • I bought a copy. Looking forward to trying it out! It'll be for personal use. Wanted to try it out real quick but impactshared didn't have all the libs needed.

Same here. I just never bit the bullet, actually. I may get it or simply wait until I know that I have a use for it, since I let two of my 'image'-related domains expire sometime ago...

Either way, I want to say, good work with the product Mr. Berrios!

Got it installed and got to play with it a little.
Very awesome! Totally worth the $34 in my opinion.

I'll have to ask ImpactShared if they can enable php-mbstring.

  • I bought this around a year ago along with the TMD Hosting. So far pretty good.. no complain on the software.

If they use cpanel that is easy to do with EA4.
