Alternatives to glype web proxy.

Seems glype is not being updated anymore.

Are there any alternatives?

I just found php-proxy which is apparently different from PHPProxy. Looks like it might work.

  • PHP-Proxy is decades better than the old PHProxy.

    There's also miniProxy.

  • PHP-Proxy is very easy to install and is actively developed! :)

I am trying it. Seems more limited compared to Glype. No configs like allowing or denying cookies, javascript etc. but at least youtube appears to work.

Looks promising. Thanks for making me aware of it.

You can configure Glype all you like, anything but Google's homepage is broken when proxied.

Also, check CGIProxy, Privoxy, ExaProxy, UnblockSites Proxy Script because found these names as an alternative of glype web proxy.

Glype doesn't seem to work for some youtube videos. Since it's not being updated you get what you get.
