what do you actually mean by "privacy friendly?"

because if you mean dmca ignored or something sorry we cannot offer that.

but if you are willing to abide by our tos/aup and follow us laws so we aren't liable for any copyright issues(like no torrents at all) sure.

we have had a public vpn service on our nodes before but every time we had the person on our ddos protected us nodes we constantly got dmca notices from our colocation provider in the us which after we got the first we terminated the user as per our aup.
that is the only reason we put in the aup no public vpn's allowed though we are willing to make a exception if you are willing to make it worth it(eg not be like the last public vpn customer as we explained above.)

please submit a sales ticket here: https://cubedata.net/client/plugin/support_manager/client_tickets/add/1/ if you are willing to do that or just let us know you're willing to do that so we can go ahead and make you a plan with the above specs as you mentioned for our ddos protected us location.

Do you need more than that on a vpn? I kinda doubt it.

How much is the CPU frequency? E. g. 100MHz etc.

The CPU is 3.5Ghz so you'd get around 900Mhz+. We don't apply the CPU caps unless we need to so it's generally fair share.

Why does the LU IP address look like a US IP address?

We used our IP's from ARIN in Luxembourg. Most places list it as LU, some are stubborn.

A traceroute/mtr/etc will show it going to root.lu.

    A modern E3 has 4, a modern E5 12 cores - you want to pay 7$, this is at most for the ISP 12 * 7 = 84$. This is not sustainable.

    Simple as that.

@Bopie maybe a KVM in bristol? But, do you seriously need KVM to host 'just' VPN? @exception0x876's VPS mini (OVZ/$2.99/y) can also do the job..

  • @antik0
I can do something but it can only be through OpenVZ though :/
