    It does, sorta, but very slow, probably everything's going to fall back to IPv4.

    @lizcat here's the benchmark using this script: https://freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh
    Not sure how long the script took to complete, did it last night in screen and left it running.

    Hi, the trouble should be fixed now. Could you check it again? Thanks a lot.

    I contacted the support asking why I can't login to the vps, they said I'm banned because someone from my country abuse their servers.

    If I understand correctly someone means 1 single person, right?
    So very lol when they told me that they banned me because of one single person's sin. But maybe not, not that I care

    I barely used the vps, wanted to run benchmark to post it here only to know that I'm banned

    Well at least it gives chance for other to get 1 month free vps

    I can say the support is amazing answering my questions quickly

    Sorry about that, we found a lot of abusers from Indonesia and China (This is my motherland). We blocked these two area together.

    We are very sorry but There is no discrimination against anyone.

    i just registered 1 and i'm waiting for activaton, will see if it works well :) if it does i may extend more

    Edit: I opened ticket about activation and they asked for my detail address. I sent them and they still asked me same question?? Can't understand what they need. I think Vultr or DO are still better choices.

    Also, apt-get has issues with ipv6 as far as I can tell. I did:

    echo 'Acquire::ForceIPv4 "true";' | tee /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99force-ipv4

    To force ipv4

    Edit: installing package asks me for a CD rom. I had to edit /etc/apt/sources.list.

    Also, apt-get has issues with ipv6 as far as I can tell. I did:

    echo 'Acquire::ForceIPv4 "true";' | tee /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99force-ipv4

    To force ipv4

    Edit: installing package asks me for a CD rom. I had to edit /etc/apt/sources.list.

    Is it any trouble with IPv6? Could you give me a speedtest?

    Thanks.

    Just a hint to people trying to also do a IPv6 test with that script, to add -46 (for both IPv4 & IPv6) at the end of the command or just -6 if u just want IPv6 internet test done.

    Maybe try adding the addresses manually? They assign ten of them for each client, my VPS took three of them automatically, not sure about you.

    Cancelled, thank you.

  • EdmondEdmond Member

    @Lizcat even with the invoices, I can still use the server up to the 22nd right? I'm going to put in a end of billing cycle cancellation next week so it doesn't keep bugging me about the invoice..
